As a Sales & Retention executive, you will be responsible for channelling customer queries to either the customer success team or the new sales business team depending on the nature of the query. You will be passionate about talking to new customers and have a genuine desire to help channel their queries to the correct department.


The other part of the role will be speaking to new customers who have joined our service and are looking to cancel their subscription to:

  1. Process this request
  2. Try to save the customer


This role will be in the Growth team reporting into the Growth Manager.


On a day to day you will:

  • Acting as first point of contact to our clients.
  • Dealing with high volume of inbound calls.
  • Handling and passing over client queries
  • Setting up cases to pass on to other departments.
  • Dealing and handling cancellation requests.
  • Supporting the Growth team where required.


As for our dream candidate… 


  • Experience in retaining customers from cancelling their account.
  • Experience of working in a sales environment.
  • Experience in telemarketing / Lead Generation
  • Excellent phone based sales experience required and client facing relationship would be appreciated.
  • You’re able to gain tradespeople trust and build rapport with them.
  • Able to work well under pressure and juggle a varied workload.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasive skills across all levels.
  • Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with salesforce is a plus but can be trained.
  • Experience taking  multiple calls in a day whilst always remaining professional
  • Able to work alongside multiple teams at the same time
