THE ROLE

The Upseller role will focus on identifying existing Rated People accounts and working to upsell them onto bigger plans which are in line with their commercial ambitions.

Reporting to the PAT Sales Team Manager, you will be expected to exceed revenue goals by planning and executing successful sales within the tradesmen industry. You will be responsible for acquiring and possessing expert knowledge of RatedPeople’s products.You will be expected to work on business development projects to reach potential premium clients.

 

On a day to day you will:

  • Identify growth opportunities within our existing customer base.
  • Meet and exceed sales quota through speaking to existing tradespeople and upselling them onto bigger plans
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, discovery, presentation and closing.
  • Develop accurate forecasts and manage sales activity in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Excellent phone based sales experience required and client facing relationship would be appreciated.
  • You’re able to gain tradespeople trust and build rapport with them.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasive skills across all levels.
  • Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Business Development on potential premium clients

 

ABOUT YOU

  • As for our dream candidate… 
  • Experience of working in a sales environment.
  • Experience in telemarketing / Lead Generation
  • You have 1-2 years in sales, in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent phone based sales experience required and client facing relationship would be appreciated.
  • You’re able to gain tradespeople trust and build rapport with them.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasive skills across all levels.
  • Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
